Korolova in Malta: Zamna On The Beach Lands at Palm Beach
🌍 Some brands you travel to. Zamna is one of them — born in the jungle south of Tulum and now running a circuit that takes in Ibiza, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. On Sunday 9 August 2026 it does something Malta does not get every summer: it comes here. Zamna On The Beach takes over Palm Beach from the middle of the afternoon until midnight, and it brings Korolova with it. 🔥
🎧 Who is Korolova, and why she fits a beach
Korolova is a Ukrainian DJ and producer who built her name on melodic techno — the kind of set that opens wide and patient and closes hard. That matters here more than it would in a club, because this is not a dark room at three in the morning. She has to make daylight, sunset and darkness all work in the same set, and that is exactly the register she is known for.
If you have only heard her through a phone speaker on someone's story, the live version is a different thing: long builds, very little talking, and a peak that arrives when the sky has already changed colour. ✨
🎶 The full line-up
- 🇺🇦 Korolova — headlining
- 🔊 Zamna Soundsystem — the brand's own sound, the thread that connects Tulum to Malta
- 🌊 Hilde
- 🎛️ Mux & Braynod
Melodic and afro house across the whole day. Nothing on this bill is built for a low ceiling — it is music designed to travel over open water. 🌅
⏰ The timings, and why they change how you plan
This is the part most people get wrong, because it runs on the opposite clock to a normal Maltese night out:
- 🚪 15:30 — gates open
- 🎵 16:00 — music starts
- 🌇 Just after 20:00 — the sun goes down, and this is the hour the whole thing is built around
- 🌙 00:00 — it ends
Eight hours of music, finishing at the exact moment a Maltese Sunday night would normally be starting. 😅 So treat it as a day that ends late, not as a club night that starts early. Turning up at 22:00 the way you would for Paceville means paying full price for the last two hours.
🎒 What to bring to a beach party (the bit nobody tells you)
- 🧴 Sun protection for the first three hours. There is no roof between 16:00 and 19:00, and August in Malta does not forgive.
- 🧥 Something warm for later. Sounds absurd at 16:00. It will not sound absurd at 23:30 next to the water.
- 👟 Shoes you can stand in for eight hours. Not your club shoes.
- 💧 Water, and a plan to drink it. Eight hours outdoors in August is an endurance event, not a night out.
- 🔋 A charged phone. Your ticket, your transport and your friends all live in it.
🎟️ One ticket, and transport is inside it
There is a single ticket type: General Ticket with transport included, from €20. 🚐
That last detail is worth more than it looks. Beach venues in Malta are easy to reach when you are excited at four in the afternoon and genuinely difficult to leave at midnight, when a few hundred people all want the same ride at the same time. Having the journey inside the ticket removes the one part of a beach party that regularly ruins it. Check your confirmation for the pickup details — they come from the organiser with the ticket.

🏖️ Palm Beach, and what an open-air day feels like here
Malta does club nights extremely well, but it is at its best outdoors — and an afternoon-to-midnight event on the shore is the format the island is actually built for. You get the sea while it is light, the sunset with a proper soundsystem behind it, and then three hours of night without ever going indoors. 🌊
It is also a gentler entry point than a Paceville night if you are here with a mixed group: nobody is queueing in the heat at 01:00, and you can leave when you have had enough without writing off the whole evening.
