Gianpula Village
Gianpula Village Malta Malta's biggest club complex · Rabat
Gianpula Village is Malta's largest nightlife destination: ten venues in one open-air complex on the outskirts of Rabat, from the 3,500-capacity Main Room and the Rooftop pool to the underground Vault. Established in 1980, it hosts more than 200 events a year and the biggest international DJ nights and festivals on the island.
What is Gianpula Village?
Gianpula Village is a multi-space club complex set in the Maltese countryside on the outskirts of Rabat, with views across to the historic skyline of Mdina. What began in 1980 as a single venue has grown into ten distinct clubs and arenas that share one site: open-air dance floors under the palms, a rooftop pool, a festival field for 40,000 people, tented gardens and indoor rooms that stay open all year.
In summer the whole Village comes alive: Gianpula Main Room runs Malta's biggest weekly club nights, Marrakech hosts the White Party and themed nights, The Rooftop turns pool parties into open-air dance floors at sunset, and Gianpula Fields stages the island's largest festivals and concerts.
Over the years the Village has welcomed Carl Cox, Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Boris Brejcha, Nina Kraviz, Peggy Gou, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Lost Frequencies, Steve Aoki and Sfera Ebbasta, among many others. Its Main Room is ranked among the world's 100 best clubs.

The spaces of Gianpula Village
Each space has its own crowd, sound and season. Every event page on Malta Party Vibes shows the confirmed room for that night.

The centrepiece of the Village and the home of Malta's biggest weekly club nights, with a huge dance floor, powerful sound and immersive lighting. Ranked among the world's 100 best clubs.
Marrakech
A sophisticated open-air club set in a jungle-inspired environment of greenery and textured lighting, with a dedicated VIP area and bookable sofas. Home of the White Party nights.
Block 11
The heart of the Village, among palms and greenery with views over Mdina: chill-out areas and food courts, and the place to start or end the night whichever venue you are attending.
Gianpula Fields
One of the largest open-air festival and concert arenas in Malta, purpose-built for large-scale events with high-capacity production, powerful sound systems and immersive staging.
The Rooftop
Poolside days with sweeping views across the countryside and the skyline of Mdina, turning into an open-air dance floor at sunset. Home of the weekly rooftop pool parties.
Club Phoenix
Tucked away among the trees and dedicated to house and techno, with a central stage that puts the DJ in the heart of the dance floor and a Martin Audio sound system.
Groove Gardens
A versatile tented space in lush greenery that moves from daytime to night, with a close connection between crowd and performer, from underground techno to commercial nights.
Penthouse
Elevated above the Village with panoramic views over Mdina: sunset gatherings that flow into evenings under the stars, at a slower, more considered pace.
The Club House
Recently renovated, raw and futuristic: a high-performance Martin Audio sound system and a lighting setup engineered to move with the music.
The Vault
Set within converted subterranean stables: low light, focused dance-floor energy and extended DJ sessions for underground music lovers.
The Village experience
Malta's biggest nights
From weekly Main Room club nights to festival editions across several rooms and concerts on the Fields, nowhere else on the island gathers crowds like the Village.
World-class DJs and artists
Carl Cox, Charlotte de Witte, Peggy Gou, Steve Aoki, Sfera Ebbasta and the biggest names on the touring circuit have played here, alongside Malta's own resident nights.
Day to night, room to room
Start at the Rooftop pool or Block 11 at sunset, move to the Main Room or Marrakech after midnight and finish underground in The Vault, all without leaving the site.
Gianpula Village Club Guide
Dress Code
There is no single dress code for the Village: each night sets its own, and themed events such as the White Party expect the theme to be respected (all white). Comfortable shoes help, as the complex is large and mostly open-air.
Music & Nights
Commercial and house in the Main Room on the big weekly nights, reggaeton and Latin nights, French nights, themed parties in Marrakech, house and techno at Club Phoenix and in The Vault, and festivals and live concerts on the Fields.
Opening Hours
Times change with every event: club nights usually run from around 22:00 until 04:00, and on many nights last entry is at 00:00, with a possible late-entry supplement after that. The car park gate closes at 05:00. Always check the event page.
Getting There & Age
Gianpula is in the countryside near Rabat, so plan the trip: many tickets sold through Malta Party Vibes include return coach transport from Paceville, and Bolt and eCabs run all night. Most Gianpula nights are 17+ with ID; each event page states its own age policy.

Where is Gianpula Village?
Gianpula Village sits in the Maltese countryside on the outskirts of Rabat, in the centre of the island, with views across to the walled city of Mdina. It is a car or coach trip away from the hotels of St Julian's, Sliema and Paceville rather than a walk.
Coach transport from Paceville is included with many event tickets, with a pick-up point in Paceville before the night and a return after closing. Check the event page for the exact meeting point and times.
