Neolitika Sol // Toru Ikemoto Live was one of the most unique daytime techno events in Malta for summer 2026, taking place on Sunday 2 August at the legendary Gianpula Village. This debut edition of Sol — Neolitika’s new daytime sanctuary concept — brought together Mediterranean warmth, intimate soundscapes and a truly immersive vibe, offering something completely different for techno fans and daytime party lovers in Malta.
For its first Sol session, Neolitika welcomed Toru Ikemoto — Japanese composer, DJ and producer, known for releases on Rødhåd’s WSNWG label and a Stone Techno Festival debut. His live set delivered hypnotic, atmospheric techno, blending driving rhythms and intricate detail, all under the Mediterranean afternoon sun. The result was a daytime experience unlike anything else on the Malta events calendar, with a discerning international crowd and a slowed-down, immersive vibe.
